After studying human medicine in Germany, Spain and England, I started working as a paediatric surgeon at the University Hospital in Lübeck in 2006.
In 2009 I left the hospital routine to become a medical journalist with the Medical Tribune. As a medical editor I covered all mayor national and international medical meetings as well as press conferences, trial reports and pharmaceutical news.
From 2011 to 2016, I provided medical and strategic support as Medical Director of TBWA | Healthcare Communication | Germany | to clients, such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ipsen, Roche and Pfizer.
From 2016 to 2020, I was Associate Director of the Medical Affairs Department at medac Gesellschaft für klinische Spezialpräparate mbH.
In April 2020, I founded A to Z Medical Consulting to offer my services as a freelance medical consultant.
